Legal challenge to Wave Park

The community legal challenge against the Tuit Road Wave Park continues with in excess of $200,000 already spent. A page for donations has been set up by the organisers - every contribution is genuinely appreciated and you may remain anonymous. Please consider donating and/or share the link below:

To date, there has been no reply from the City of Onkaparinga to the Community Letter of Concern with over 1000 residents in support which was formally lodged with the CEO and all councillors on 17 November 2026.

Sellicks Beach bollards

After years of community advocacy in response to non-compliance, City of Onkaparinga have resolved to proceed with the installation of permanent bollards along the existing no-vehicle zone at Sellicks Beach. More information here. FOWB continue to advocate for broader vehicle restrictions, especially along the foreshore of Wangkuntila–Aldinga Conservation Park.

State and Federal politics

Recently announced was a proposed redistribution of federal electorate boundaries which impacts the Willunga Basin. More information here. Submissions can be made before 6 pm ACST Friday 24 April 2026

Port Willunga North Coast Park

There remains no progress on the Park while negotiations continue with private landowners to secure public access around the Chinaman Gully section of the trail.
